Aregnazan Community

Throughout the school’s life, a community of Waldorf education supporters has been formed around Aregnazan. Ever since, the school community has been serving as a vivid link between the school and the society.

The Aregnazan community unites the efforts of the school teachers and administration, students and parents, alumni and friends, who all come together to support the harmonious development of children, the prosperity of the school, as well as the creation and preservation of our best traditions.

Activities of Aregnazan Community

The school year at Aregnazan is full of various events and celebrations, which further enrich the school life and its educational processes.

Moreover, these activities encourage dynamic communication and collaboration between the school on one hand, and students, parents, and friends of Aregnazan, on the other hand.

Aregnazan Alumni

At the core of Aregnazan education is our goal of empowering our students to become full-fledged members of the society – ones who are both well-educated and are enthusiasts in spreading the good around them.

It is a sincere joy to witness our alumni becoming young adults who continue to grow themselves into their higher selves and strive to live a life full of moral and social consciousness.

Whatever paths they pursue – from vocational crafts to science and arts – Aregnazan alumni are putting their abilities of independent thinking and acting into the service of the societies they are living in.

Free International Pedagogical Initiative Organization

Aregnazan school was founded by the Free International Pedagogical Initiative non-governmental organization, which also is the owner of the school. The organization was founded in 2004 by a group of Armenian Waldorf teachers and parents.

The goal of the organization is to support Waldorf schools and other educational initiatives in Armenia.

Friends of Aregnazan Waldorf School

As a non-profit independent school, Aregnazan is not financed by the state, nor it is in any way supported by any governmental body or program.

Financially, the school survives partly through tuition and fees paid by the parents, but also through the generous donations of donors, partners and friends of Aregnazan.

It is thanks to the financial contribution of the school parents, alumni, friends and partners that we are able to improve and furnish the school facilities, implement various educational and teachers’ training programs in Armenia and abroad.
