30 years of Aregnazan Waldorf School: from Dream to Reality A Journey of 30 Years of Growth

April 2025 was a especially meaningful month to us all at Aregnazan Waldorf School. We celebrated the 30th anniversary of our school. The seeds that were sown more than three decades ago, have been carefully nurtured, growing into strong roots, blossoming fully, and bearing rich fruit. And for more than three decades Waldorf pedagogy has lived, thrived and flourished in our country. Hundreds of happy children, adolescents with inquisitive minds and conscious young individuals have been educated at Aregnazan Waldorf School. Here, the ideals and artistry of Waldorf education continue to live and inspire.

On April 13th, the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theater in Yerevan turned into a warm and welcoming place for everyone connected to the Aregnazan Waldorf School: teachers, students, graduates and alumni and friends of the school. For nearly three hours, the stage came alive with performances by students from various classes, woven together by the tale of a fairy-tale prince who, in pursuit of his dream, overcame every obstacle along the way.

Publications by our teachers, as well as the numerous works of arts and crafts our students created over the years, were displayed in a unique exhibition in the theatre  lobby. The evening which was wholehearted, filled with warmth and joy, truly reflecting the true soul and essence of our school.

More than three decades ago, we conceived and brought to life the dream of a school grounded in the holistic development of the child. Today, that vision has matured into an organism that is full of life and which spares no effort to inspire future generations.

It’s here and now where the future begins. 30 years is only the beginning.
