What is the main teaching language at “Aregnazan” School?

The main language for teaching at our school is Armenian. Russian, German and English are taught as foreign languages as guided by the curriculum.

At what age do the students start learning foreign languages?

Teaching of foreign languages, particularly Russian and German, start from the 1st grade. The English language is introduced in the fifth grade.

Do the students receive homework assignments?

At Aregnazan we focus on the work done in the classroom, where the entire teaching process is conducted in a way that is holistic and complete. Homework, when assigned, serves for specific purposes, such as repetition, revision and further researching.

Does the school provide an after-school program?

The school offers an after-school program with two different schedules: from noon till 16:00 and till 18:00.

Does the school provide transportation?

No.

How is the learning progress assessed at Aregnazan?

Waldorf education has not adopted traditional grading to evaluate the learning and development progress. At Aregnazan Waldorf School, it is fundamental to evoke love in our students towards learning and applying, something that cannot be measured by any grading.

Does the school provide inclusive education?

Aregnazan welcomes students with special needs. However, their enrollment depends on the availability of resources (curative educators, pedagogues, etc.).
