In October 2025, the 7b class of Aregnazan Waldorf School once again performed the play “The Argonauts” at the Tumanyan Puppet Theater in Yerevan. The first version of this play was presented to the audience twice at the end of the last school year, at the end of the 6th grade. The class also performed the play in Gyumri.
The play summarized the efforts of the class to re-enact various cultural elements of ancient Greek in a way that would enable the students to develop a deeper respect for that culture and provide them with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture, mood and lifestyle of the time, things they had studies in their 6th grade history lessons.
Greek hexometer, ritual and folk dances, eurhythmic numbers and ancient Greek songs were used to complete the play, which was newly created (both text and direction) was created for this performance by the students and their teacher during the two months of rehearsal and production.
